Kaniha

Kaniha mandal is located in Anugul district, Odisha, spanning 158 revenue villages under 19 gram panchayats. Census 2011 data shows a population of 80,860 in 20,540 households, with literacy at 69% and a sex ratio of 911 females per 1,000 males. The workforce totalled 31,944 workers, including 3,694 cultivators and 2,384 agricultural labourers. Post-Census survey data indicates 68.3% of households had access to tap water through JJM.
