Nizamabad

Nizamabad mandal is located in Azamgarh district, Uttar Pradesh. It encompasses 555 revenue villages and 241 gram panchayats with a Census 2011 population of 538,270 across 77,353 households. The mandal had a literacy rate of 60.6% and a notably higher sex ratio of 1,035. Among 153,882 workers, 43,088 were cultivators and 15,914 were agricultural labourers.
