Narayanpur

Narayanpur is a mandal in Lakhimpur district, Assam, comprising 205 revenue villages and 15 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, the mandal had a population of 129,225 across 27,476 households, with a literacy rate of 73.8% and a sex ratio of 983. Among the workforce of 56,803, agriculture was the primary occupation with 20,529 cultivators and 1,810 agricultural labourers. As of the post-Census period, 66% of households had access to JJM tap water.
