Siruguppa

Siruguppa is a mandal in Ballari district, Karnataka, comprising 86 revenue villages with 27 gram panchayats. The 2011 Census counted a population of 190,388 with a literacy rate of 42.4% and notably a sex ratio of 1005 per 1000 males, one of the highest among the mandals listed. The mandal had 105,516 workers, with 33,057 cultivators and 53,310 agricultural labourers, reflecting a large agricultural workforce. Jal Jeevan Mission tap water coverage was 70.9% of households.
