Samudrapur

Samudrapur is a mandal in Wardha district, Maharashtra, with 222 revenue villages administered through 71 gram panchayats. Census 2011 recorded a population of 117,038 across 28,353 households, with literacy reaching 74.1% and a sex ratio of 932. Among 66,009 workers, 21,724 were cultivators and 28,870 agricultural labourers. The mandal achieved 82.1% tap water coverage under the Jal Jeevan Mission scheme.
