Paralakhemundi

Paralakhemundi mandal is located in Gajapati district, Odisha, comprising 135 revenue villages and 12 gram panchayats. The 2011 Census recorded a population of 54,040 in 13,087 households, with literacy at 46.8% and a notably high sex ratio of 1,016. The mandal had 28,253 workers, of which 4,553 were cultivators and 7,583 were agricultural labourers. JJM tap water coverage reached 68.3%, with notable villages being Gurandi, Ranipeta, and Jhami.
