Kishanganj

Kishanganj mandal is located in Baran district, Rajasthan, comprising 213 revenue villages organized under 53 gram panchayats. According to Census 2011, the mandal had a population of 166,864 across 33,345 households, with a literacy rate of 49.9% and a sex ratio of 941. Agricultural activities dominated employment, with 18,541 cultivators and 15,481 agricultural labourers among 77,447 workers. As of the post-Census survey, only 17.5% of households had access to tap water under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
