Meja

Meja mandal is located in Prayagraj district, Uttar Pradesh. It encompasses 395 revenue villages and 189 gram panchayats with a Census 2011 population of 550,848 across 83,225 households. The mandal had a literacy rate of 59.1% and a sex ratio of 918. Among 181,954 workers, 33,326 were cultivators and 24,996 were agricultural labourers. As of the post-Census survey, 70.8% of households had access to tap water through the Jal Jeevan Mission.
